Social housing provider Keelman Homes is building quality affordable homes in Low Fell, Gateshead, in partnership with Gateshead Council, Beacon Living and Kier Living.

The development on the Lyndhurst site has been funded by a £210k grant from Homes England.

The six new two bedroomed homes, named The Hazel, will be located within the new Beacon Living development, Valley View, which is close to local amenities and several Ofsted-rated outstanding schools.

The location offers good transport links across the North East and is close to the A1, Gateshead and Newcastle city centre.

The homes will be available in Spring 2019 and will be let at an affordable rent to people on the Housing Register.

Amanda Gallagher, Development and Investment Manager for Keelman Homes, said: “We are delighted to provide these new properties at Valley View. The development will make a welcome addition to the Low Fell area.”
